BTS Packet Loss Anomaly Detection

A Fortune 500 Telco was facing the issue that their performance window for analyzing BTS sites was after every 72 hours and they had 2 primary vendors on the Network side. A team of internal employees from both vendors would check their respective EMS and NMS systems after every 72 hours to find if a site went down and what the issue was so that they could accordingly report to relevant personnel at the Telco Operator. However, often times the reason for the site being down was unclear and reporting for immediate resolution was being delayed as there was no automation and a clear lack of a dashboard that would showcase data from multiple vendors onto one unified platform. Hence, clearly there was a problem that needed solving, and we at Ameerz were able to deploy our bot privIC that detected the Anomalies at the right time and would email the network support team of the Telco Operator and its relevant employees the following information:

  • Name of the site that went down as per naming convention and relevant vendor
  • Whether the issue hindering performance and causing packet loss was pertaining to voice, capacity, or jitter.
  • Time sensitivity of the issue e.g. deemed highly critical and needs immediate resolving

Fiber Cut Anomaly Detection predicated on Network Topology

A fortune 500 Telco was encountering the issue of cuts in their fiber link that connected hub sites to switching centers in their Wireless network, Using ML Our bot PrivIC was able to read and build updated dictionaries of the Network Topology of each of the telecom sites and could intelligently identify if a fiber cut had taken place and on what path/route, and based on which route the fiber cut anomaly had occurred, privIC was automatically able to utilize AI and make a real-time decision of re-routing traffic onto another path.

360° Analysis for a complete overview of how an Individual engages with a Telecom Operator

Conducted a pilot project for a Telco that primarily entailed providing their top management with 360 degree analytics of all their data.

We achieved this by intelligently integrating with their CRM systems, Relational databases, Transactional databases, NoSQL databases, and Legacy systems.

By harnessing our ML driven bot privIC, the ability to scan and access data of Individual’s across various systems and sources was very easy and favourable for conducting 360 degree analysis. Overall, this data analysis primarily advised the relevant team at the Telco on how an Individual engages with them e.g. as a customer, as an employee, and so on and so forth.

The team members internally which received access to this data were evidently specified as the individual’s within the enterprise with corresponding user permissions for viewing of this data. However, in order to still fully ensure full privacy and compliance, the data was masked when flowing throughout the rest of the organization.
